"In Good Hands" puts a Black woman's expertise and dignity at the center of a story about a system that disregards both. The intersection of professional excellence and cultural urgency is exactly the kind of storytelling that Overflow was built to uplift.
The Story
A Black ER physician faces two critical cases that push her to the limit during the final moments of her overnight shift at a Pennsylvania hospital. Inspired by the experiences of Dr. Sylvia Owusu-Ansah, story advisor of hit show "The Pitt."
